A welcome message from the organizing committee, and a first look at Mongolia — host to AOSRA-PM 2028.
On behalf of the Mongolian Pain Society, it is my great honor and privilege to warmly welcome you to AOSRA-PM 2028 to be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on 12–13 August 2028 at the Terelj Bolor Premium Resort Hotel.
Pain medicine and regional anesthesia have become integral to modern, patient-centered healthcare, contributing significantly to safe perioperative care, effective pain management, enhanced recovery and improved quality of life. As our disciplines continue to advance through innovation, emerging technologies and growing scientific evidence, sustained academic exchange, international collaboration and the sharing of clinical expertise are essential to translating these advances into better outcomes for our patients.
AOSRA-PM 2028 will bring together leading experts, clinicians, researchers and professional colleagues from Mongolia, across the Asia–Oceania region and beyond. The meeting will provide a dynamic platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, sharing evidence-based practices and clinical experience, discussing emerging developments, and strengthening practical competencies in regional anesthesia and pain medicine.
Beyond its scientific objectives, AOSRA-PM 2028 represents an important opportunity to further strengthen professional networks and regional cooperation. We aspire to build stronger bridges between Mongolia and the wider Asia–Oceania pain medicine and regional anesthesia community, while fostering meaningful partnerships that can support education, research, capacity building and the advancement of high-quality, accessible patient-centered care.
We sincerely hope that AOSRA-PM 2028 in Ulaanbaatar will mark an important milestone in the continued development of pain medicine and regional anesthesia in Mongolia and the Asia–Oceania and contribute to the broader advancement of these disciplines throughout the region.
It is my great pleasure to invite you to join us in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and to actively participate in this important academic gathering. We deeply value your continued interest, friendship, collaboration and support and we look forward to welcoming you to Mongolia in August 2028 for an inspiring and memorable meeting.
Thank you and we wish you a very warm welcome to Mongolia.
